Male Fertility Assessment

A comprehensive evaluation of male reproductive health, focusing on sperm quality and hormone levels. It helps to identify male potential fertility issues that may be impacting a couple's ability to conceive.

How It Is Done:
  1. Semen Analysis

A detailed evaluation of the male sperm count, shape and movement is done to determine the overall health and fertility potential. A sample of semen is collected and examined under a microscope

  2. Hormonal Blood Tests

Blood tests are conducted to measure key hormones that influence sperm production and fertility, such as:

    • Testosterone
    • Follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH)
    • Luteinizing hormone (LH)
    • Prolactin
    • Among others...
  3. Genetic Screening (optional)

Genetic tests may be performed to identify any genetic abnormalities that could affect sperm production or quality.

  4. Physical Examination

A physical exam by a specialist may be conducted to check for anatomical issues, such as varicoceles (enlarged veins in the scrotum) or abnormalities in the testicles that could affect fertility.
